Lets chat about … Valentine Cards for Family :) I know V-Tines is coming up and many of you are like me, and may send cards to family. I’m always looking for the least expensive way to go….. and we must keep in mind postage.
You have some options, and then I’ll share with you what I plan on doing:
- Grab 25 Photo Cards FREE just pay as low as $1.49 shipping from SeeHere. Simply create a SeeHere account, create a 4×8, single-sided & flat photo card & save it; then add up to 25 cards to your cart when you check out… and use code 25cards.
- Register for a CVS.com Photo Account & get 25 FREE 4×6 Prints!
- Snapfish – get FREE shipping with Valentine Gifts.
What I plan on doing is rather easy; I hate waiting for the mail (cards in the mail) so I’m going to make 4×6 Photo Cards by using Publisher on my computer… it’s on most compueters I think.. at least it’s on mine.
I create a 4×6 custom document…. then I find the pictures of the kids I want to use, and design a card. I’m a pretty nifty designer.. for photo cards anyways :) I save it as a JPEG (high quality) & send them to CVS or Wags to be developed. I pick them up an hour later, put them in a regular letter size envelope (they fit! No need to spend $$ on expensive envelopes) and let my 5 year old decorate it to the maxxxxxx with stickers.

Well last year I had my 2 yr old decorate little homemade cards I cut out of construction paper and mailed them to all the special ladies in his life. This year I’m hosting a mommy’s group and all the kids are going to come over and decorate cards I pre-cut out with all kinds of things. I’ll provide envelopes and they can mail to any loved ones they want. It’s a fun craft project and something special for all those special people in our lives.
