Thanksgiving is RIGHT around the corner, and chances are you are desperately needing to pick up a Turkey – me too. Time to start making plans now, because as each day goes by, we are losing more time.
If you are wondering where to find the BEST deals this year, we have a round up of tips that may help you out ~ before you head out to shop, it would be a great idea to make a list of all the items you MUST have – that way you can accurately determine the BEST store to shop at.
This year we don’t have the most amazing turkey prices, but you can still save some pretty big bucks if you shop smart. Here are TEN ways you can save on your Thanksgiving Meal this year…

#8 Use Ibotta for Turkey Savings
Ibotta has some GENEROUS savings on Turkeys or Hams on the app. For example, earn an $8.00 Combo rebate when you buy Bud Light Cran-BRRR-Rita AND a Turkey or Ham, valued at $8 or more.
That’s like paying for the liquor and getting the Turkey FREE – why not? Fry’s has the Cran-BRRR-Rita on sale for $10.99 (12 pk) starting Wednesday, so you’ll score a Turkey AND a 12 pack for just over $11.00… we mentioned the deal HERE.
Ibotta has some GREAT savings on Thanksgiving Items – offers for Produce, Stuffing, Butter, even Milk….
Since many are generic, they can be used at any Ibotta approved store ~ you can pick up Stuffing for $.50 at Fry’s, and Cream Cheese for $.49 too!
#9 Shop the 99 Only store
If you simply just want to pick up items without the hassle of coupons, you can stop in at the 99 Only store – they have a TON of Thanksgiving Food Items – Green Giant Vegetables 2/$.99, Libby’s Vegetables 4/$.99, and Gravy, Stuffing, even Sweet Potatoes.
You probably won’t find a Turkey, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a turkey somewhere else. See our 16 Thanksgiving Must Haves from the 99 Only Store.
#10 Use Find & Save for Additional Savings
Wherever you choose to shop, make sure you use check the Find & Save app for additional savings – they frequently have % cash back offers for many popular stores – you might be able to submit your receipt and earn a little extra back on that Target trip.
OR, you may find a special offer for Safeway that works well, to reward you for your trip there too! The Find & Save app is FREE for Android & iOS, register using code M5PZ.
Why didn’t we include WinCo? You can shop WinCo too… we just can’t tell you a consistent price on ANYTHING that they have – since they don’t have an official ad, nothing is advertised and prices vary from store to store. There is too much variation for us to tell you definite deals … If we do, then we run the risk of upset and angry people if we put out deals since they can vary so greatly.
