We have one in the hallway right next to the laundry room and that’s how we sort our laundry — each family member has a BIN.. clothes come OUT of the laundry room, and get placed in that person’s bin and each person puts their bin away every night.
(Some nights it doesn’t work as planned but then Mom has to pick up the slack…)
I got the BINS for our organizer at Kmart for $2.50.. and they have held up for over a year with pretty destructive boys — quite a bargain in my book. You can find them also on sale at Fry’s quite often to for $5 – $6.
Do you or anyone else know if this unit can be placed horizontal? I have 2 toddlers and would like for them to reach their toys. Any suggestions???
