Ahhh, If your house is anything like my circus of a house, you always need batteries. ALWAYS. I have an 18 mo. old that’s infatuated with removing batteries from any and all devices here. Smart guy, lemme tell ya.
Staples is offering 20-ct Duracell Coppertop Alkaline Batteries (AA or AAA) for FREE after Staples Rewards. You can see the ad HERE.
You must be a Staples Rewards member (free to join) to be eligible. The limit is 2 per week through April 30th.
Confusing? Let me simplify for you:
You can buy 2 packs today, Friday 04/22, or 2 packs on Saturday 04/23. Then buy 2 more packs (anytime next week from Sunday to Saturday week starting on 04/24).
OR…….
You can buy nothing today or tomorrow, and instead just buy 2 packs anytime next week from Sunday to Saturday week starting on 04/24.
Keep in mind that the price eligible for Rewards is the amount paid at checkout after application of all promotions, coupons and Rewards redemptions. For the batteries, there is no rebate to send in. The rewards will be available at the end of May – you can choose to print them from HERE, or, you can opt for them to come via US Postal Mail.

I feel dumb, but after staple rewards? As long as I have the card, I should get this deal? Will I have to pay out of pocket? I have the card, but I’m not exactly sure what it does. Am I getting money back? Can you break it down lol. Thanks!!

Dannie,
You will purchase your batteries from staples using your rewards card, and yes you will pay out of pocket up front. At the end of may, you will get this money back in the form of Staples rewards, which is a little voucher you can either print from your computer (so much easier) or you can have them mail them (don’t reccomend since you wait longer). You can use the voucher for any purchase made at staples. It seems like alot of money out of pocket, however these rewards almost are used like walgreens RR or CVS ECB, once you get goin’ you can just keep rolling them. I just used $23 last night and I’m going to get back $22 in rebates.
Also-the only thing that comes back as an actual check are the rebates. I have never experienced an easier rebate program then staples (just an FYI). Hope this helps
