Are you in the Valley and a customer of SRP or APS? If you are, don’t forget that at some point you MAY have to replace your AC (or, upgrade) — if your air conditioner is struggling to keep up with the Valley heat, it might be a sign that you need a contractor to come and look at it.
It might need a small upgrade, or, you might need a new one entirely.
Don’t forget that both SRP and APS offer rebates for an upgrade or replacement AC Unit… you can see the offers below:
APS
Learn how you can be eligible for up to $245 in Rebates through APS – certain restrictions apply.
SRP
If you are a current SRP customer, you can score up to $800 as a Rebate through SRP – there are some guidelines to help you determine what you may qualify for, and how to score the savings.
Replacing or upgrading an AC unit is never cheap ~ before you go and make that decision, I would recommend getting a look from not just one but several Air Conditioning specialists to see if an upgrade or a replacement is truly what you need.

When you do get around to replacing yours, could you please post, what the best options were that you were able to find? My family and I are in the same boat as you. We have two units, that are just barely hanging on and we are faced with the same issue as to what to do. This is a big expense, and any little tips or adivce on how to get the best deal would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
