This Pecan Bacon Cheeseball combines yummy bacon with delicious pecans in an appetizer that’s perfect for get togethers with family and friends.
A really good cheeseball is a blessing to have at the holiday season. It’s even great to have all year round – especially if you do a lot of entertaining, with family and friends coming over and popping in.
Not only are they delicious – cheeseballs, they are also so easy to put together. A few simple ingredients and some refrigerator time and you have an appetizer that will make your guests think that you’ve been slaving away in the kitchen.
Pecan Bacon Cheeseball
This cheeseball takes delicious pecans and bacon and coats a generously flavored ball of cheese to make something with uber amounts of flavor.
This cheeseball comes together with the following simple ingredients:
- cream cheese
- triple cheddar shredded cheese
- garlic and onion powder
- everything bagel seasoning
- bacon bits & pecans
- scallions – chopped fine
Form the cheeseball and refrigerate for 20 minutes, then remove from the fridge and roll into your cheeseball coating (bacon bits, everything bagel seasoning and scallions). Enjoy this with crackers or even sourdough bread.

Pecan Bacon Cheeseball
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 C shredded triple cheddar cheese
- 1/2 C bacon bits
- 1/2 C pecans chopped
- 1/4 C scallions sliced
- 2 Tbsp milk your choice
- 2 tsp everything bagel seasoning
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium-size bowl add the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, all seasoning, and milk. Mix with a hand mixer, until well combined.
- Then add half of the bacon bits, half of the scallions, and half of the pecans. Make sure to chop those in smaller pieces first.
- Put a piece of saran wrap on the counter and put the cheese ball in it. Then fully wrap it up with the saran wrap and form it into a ball. Put the cheeseball in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl, add the remaining chopped pecans, bacon bits and scallions.
- Remove the cheeseball from the fridge. Roll the cheeseball around in the prepared shallow bowl and make sure the whole ball is coated with the remaining coating.
- Serve with crackers, or anything else of your choice.
