NEW iBotta App :: Earn Money by Shopping (+ $5 FREE Credit + NEW Stores Added)

Just a few weeks ago I learned about shopping with a NEW app– and not only is it a way to make a little extra, it seems like a lot of of fun as well.  I am not the most tech savvy, but I know many of you are ;)

If you have an iPhone, or iPad you can grab the iBotta app – some of you have already downloaded it, some of you might be new to this – it’s FREE to download. iBotta allows you to earn money for products you buy regularly – you can even find more ways to earn through their app as well (surveys and more).

Even better, TODAY they added 2,000 NEW Stores! WOO HOO!!  You can now earn cash with Ibotta at every Walmart, Target, Kroger, Safeway, King Soopers, Ralphs and Vons in America as of today. AND you can score a FREE $5!

 

For a limited time, Ibotta will add $5 to any new user’s Ibotta account as soon as they redeem at least one successful offer from the Ibotta Product Gallery by uploading a receipt and receiving cash on their Ibotta account.  This credit will happen instantly.  This is for new users only.  

 

Here’s how it works:

Download the App – it is only compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPHone 5, iPod touch (3, 4 and 5th Gen) and .. iPad. You MUST have IOS 5 or later. In due time, it will be available to Android users – I would recommend signing up to be on the notification list.    I have an iPad – I just upgraded to IOS 5.0 – you may have to do the same.

Pick Out your Offers

Once the app is downloaded, choose your offers – there are many ways to earn (taking polls, looking at recipes and more). Each action scores you money when you purchase that item.

Shop at Target, Walgreens or Walmart – Kroger, Ralphs, King Snoopers + Safeway (and more!)

Purchase your product, you can use coupons as well – you can use the iBotta app to scan your product barcode as well (should you choose to).

THEN, Take a photo of your receipt – through the app. You CAN take multiple photos of the same receipt should your receipt be too long.

You’ll then score your money!  Once you hit $5 in your account you can transfer your balance to PayPal or donate to a school within the United States.

Then make sure you share your app with friends – you’ll earn referral credit once your referral and you have both redeemed a product and uploaded a receipt.  This app seems a lot like Endorse – but so far it may work better than their program – what do you think?
