If the thought of doing any type of shopping on Black Friday makes you want to run for the hills, you are in luck.
This Friday, November 24th, many state and national parks across the U.S. are offering free or discounted admission to their outdoor preserves.
Many states are waiving fees – including Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York and Washington will waive admission.

You won’t find us shopping this weekend – we’re excited to get outside and look for something more than just “stuff” — and we certainly hope you will do the same.
(The holidays are about spending time with others – your kids, your spouse, and your family. Buying stuff doesn’t help you win in the long term, it just fills your life with unnecessary distractions that take you away from the true meaning of the holidays.)
