Take a cup of sugar, and add a tiny bit of olive oil, a little at a time, until you make a slightly wet paste. Take a dab and rub it all over your hands, through your fingers. Kinda message it in. When your finished rubbing it around your hands, rinse off with warm water. Your hands will feel nice and soft. The sugar will have helped sluff off the dead skin.
Keep this stored in a little bowl. I keep mine in a little cute dish by my sink. I have very dry skin and this helps. I use it often. I buy the cheapest olive oil and sugar I can find.

I think this makes fantastic holiday gifts. I posted about it here:

It made good use of those cute litte jars we got the free Dole Fruit in. :-)

Do you ever put in any essential oils? (for fragrance) just wondered if they would interfere with the olive oil smell? OOOh the Dole fruit jars are a great idea!!!

I do this with Mineral oil & I add some of the essential oils from Bath & Body Works. It works great! I'm sure there are places that sell essential oils for less though.
*One idea is that I used the Orange Ginger scent, added a touch of food coloring (not too much, you don't want to dye peoples hands & feet) to make it a light orange color. I put it in nice jars that latch shut, added some embelishments & attached the story of "The Christmas Orange" and gave it out as a gift to all the girls in my family one Christmas. They loved it and asked me to make them more throughout the year because they'd used it all up.
