FREAPY Shopper of the Week: TINA!

Freapy Shopper Saturday is here, which means ….. you get to see some shops! Yay!

I got a wonderful email from a NEW reader, Tina, who just started couponing in early April. How awesome – she’s learning as she goes and she’s doing such a great job so far! This is what she said in her email:

Hello, I just started couponing the first of April.  Your site and Facebook page has helped me so much that I wanted to say THANK YOU!  I went shopping today and I wanted to share my awesome savings with you.  I know in time I will get better at doing deals, but I was just so excited that all the time and planning this shopping trip paid off and I saved so much!  My husband “high fived” me right outside Fry’s… that’s when I knew I did a good job saving money!  Thank you so much for all you do to help people like me and my family save money!!

• 4 Nivea bottles body wash ($1.09 after coupons)                     

Fry’s:

• 20 cans Libby’s Veggies (20 for $10.00)
• 10 frozen veggies (10 for $10.00)
• 2 jars peanut butter
• 3 BIG Tubs of Folgers Coffee
• 6 YoPlait Yogurt’s
• 2 Greek yogurts
• 2 Triscuits
• 2 Wheat Thin sticks
• 5 Manwich (10 for $10.00)
• 5 Chef Boyardee Pasta’s ($10.00)
• 2 Dozen eggs
• 4 Boxes General Mills Cereal ( received a $5 gift card)
• 4 Boxes pudding
• 2 Parkay Squeeze Butter (free after coupons)
• 1 Case bottled water
• 3 Hillshire Farm Lunchmeats
• 2 Packages slice cheese
• 1 Bag baby carrots

I paid out of pocket: $95.15, Retail Cost: $241.95, I saved: $146.80

I’m super impressed – for one, you JUST started in early April!  You did a very practical trip – practicality is HUGE – FREE stuff is always nice, but we must not forget that free Parkay does not wipe our butts, and Coffee powers our mornings!  Even more excited that your husband supported you with a HIGH FIVE!  Freap-tastic!  Lastly, I’m so proud of our Facebook readers for being so helpful & awesome. They really are super – we have one heck of a unique fan page there that keeps growing and growing!
