Yesterday I picked up some inexpensive Vo5 at Fry’s.. and had some Vinegar I got a hold of just a few days ago with intent to clean the bathroom. (Notice… the word “Intent”?) :)
Did you know you can make your own Fabric Softener? You sure can – it’s really quite easy, and you might just have everything you need right in your cabinet. I got this off of Pinterest early last year- there are a multitude of recipes on there, they are all about the same. If you are not on Pinterest yet, you really need to join us – it’s quite fun.
Of course, the scent of the Fabric Softener will depend ultimately on what conditioner you go for – so make sure you pick something you like. It’s a great way to put inexpensive conditioner to use.

Thanks Sheryl, I’m all out of fabric softener, but I have lots of VO5 conditioner, and vinegar in the house. Since I do 3 loads of laundry eveyday this will work out great…

I also read a blog today that said you could make your own dryer sheets by putting a wash cloth or piece of cotton clothing into homemade fabric softner and ringing it out or putting it into a spray bottle and spraying the fabric 3-5 times and adding it to your dryer!!! Have you ever done this?
sherylcuevas says
Sure have. I have posted it in the past too – you can spray a rag with essential oils for the same effect too :)
