I know many of you love smell-good things – especially that stuff “Febreze” which I cannot bring myself to pay $4.49 for (OUCH!)
Am I the only one?
Just a few months ago, I told my 4 year old that there had to be a way to make my own without spending tons, with stuff around the house. I did get a bottle for $0.90 at CVS which Wendy sprayed in ONE day, yes – all over my house…… That was the fastest $0.90 I had ever spent.
Funny thing is, hubby found the “bottle” for it two days ago and said to me “What is this? Can’t you just buy it?” Nope, I can’t.
I buy my Essential Oils from Botanic Choice – they last me quite some time. I use them for everything really, and this is just one area that I can incorporate one of the 5 bottles I do have.
Do it Yourself: Homemade Fabric Refresher
1 c. distilled water
1/4 c white vinegar
1 Tbsp rubbing alcohol
1/2 Tbsp baking soda
(essential oil drops if you want it to smell like something) – I use lavender
Mix together. Put in spray bottle. Shake it up. Use as you would regular refresher…….. works just as well, without paying $4.49….

VERY Cool! With 2 teenagers in the house I Always “need” this stuff, but I’m like you…I just CAN’T pay that much for it, and this way I can make it any scent I want. THANKS!

For anyone that uses Fabric Softner with their laundry. I use that when febreze is to expensive. Just pour in a spray bottle. Works great.
