Today I took a little while to clean my cabinets out…..and couldn’t help but notice I had so many Crystal Light Canisters. Gosh, how did I manage all of these?
I was thinking that there has to be a use for them, past drinking the contents – honestly, I really don’t want to toss them. So I started looking online & came across some cute ideas.
You can use them to make Candles – flameless candles, for your room, or your kid bedrooms.
You’ll need:
::: Empty Tubes
::: Tea Lights that are battery operated (from Dollar Tree)
::: Scrapbook Paper – which would work well with the 40% off Michael’s coupon
And the normal tape & scissors.
You can actually read a great tutorial at “Dill Pickle Picnic” – Cece has a great tutorial on making them look pretty snazzy.
Thanks goes to Dill Pickle Picnic for such a crafty idea!

I love upcycling. Remember all those Downy Unstoppables we got freapy at Albies forever back? I took the labels off the containers and filled them with all my little crafts supplies. Hot glue gun sticks, hair clips, bottons, etc.

Are you kidding? You haven’t found a use for them. I have about 40 of them in use around the house and in my truck. They are perfect for everything and since the label comes off there is no advertising on it. I use them for band-aids, q-tips, tums, spare change, bits and bobbles, ipod headsets and charging cables, candy, gum, ratchet sockets, screwdriver bits, lots of miscellaneous toolbox stuff, etc. They are even perfect for glasses if you don’t have a case. Your cell phone fits perfectly. Credit cards and all those store vip cards can be stored in them too. They are awesome. (I know, I know…too passionate about containers. I’m a dork what can I say.) If you can’t find a use for them please send them my way. :)
