I know this is a spendy purchase – but those of you who coupon & print coupons out may need to think forward in terms of ink in your savings calculations.
MANY of you have a regular printer, and it uses gobs of ink – I know for me, my cartridges are $35 for the XL (HP) and it lasts about a month, but I hardly print any… some of you have a laser printer. Laser printers are generally a bit more, and the cartridges are just a bit higher, but they print more pages per cartridge than any other printer.
I just grabbed this one myself – PC Rush has the Laser Printer by Cannon for $199 (reg. $599.99). Use PRINTERDEAL to get it for $130. Shipping is free. This printer is also networkable over an Ethernet so you can print from multiple computers.
The toner yields 6400 pages. Refills run just under $60. Huge savings in terms of printing – I would highly consider using your recent savings on grocery trips to invest in a great laser printer.

I have an old HP laserjet I got from an old job (free), it is a huge workhorse but I would never do couponing on an inkjet. I can print massive amounts of coupons and not worry about the cost. Since it’s an older printer, the replacement toner cartridge is only 15 bucks on ebay. It will print 10,000 pages. So it never, ever crosses my mind about being choosy on which coupons to print. If I think I may ever remotely want to try or buy it, I’ll print it. I worry more about the paper I go through!
