Brides Across America is back for another year, starting this month – various dates for various locations.
It works well for those of you who are military – and who’s spouses. While there aren’t any Bridal Salons in Arizona participating, there are in many “other” areas of the U.S. to include California – and I know some of my readers are out of state.
Each store will be preparing a select number of gown to give away. Most of the gowns are samples and overstocks and are worth approximately $500 to $3000. Dresses range in sizes from 4-22 and will be given away on a first-come, first serve basis as long as you qualify.
Qualifications:
- You must be engaged, or had a civil ceremony and planning a wedding within the next 18 months.
- You or your fiance were deployed within the past 5 years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Bahrain, Libya, Kuwait, Korea or Japan and have not had a formal wedding.
OR…
- You or your Fiancé will be deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Bahrain, Libya, Kuwait, Korea or Japan.
You must have your deployment orders – if not, then you can substitute a letter from an Army official (on government letterhead) stating the details of your recent deployment or upcoming deployment.
Each salon has only limited gowns – they are given away on a first come first serve basis – after they are depleted, you will go on a waiting list. Head over HERE to read more & see a list of participating states/salons.
