Now… for those of you who haven’t yet tried Essential Oil or are looking for some great household uses, here are a few of my favorite ways to use them:
- For a bag-Vacuum, soak a cotton ball and put it in the bag – scent lingers when you vacuum your carpet.
- Drop essential oil on a light bulb for fragrance when you turn it on
- Add oil to a cotton ball and place in your cabinet/bathroom for lingering scent
- Add to baking soda (few drops) and mix….let dry, sprinkle on carpets
- Use a few drops of lemon or orange in final rinse water to clean your fridge
- Add to a spray bottle (a few drops) + water for air mist
I use them in my laundry more than I do anything else :)
Lavender oil is also good to use joint pain. Just dab a little on the spot of issue with a cotton ball. It is not automatic, but after a little bit it helps.
