I’ll readily admit I’m not a “Shopkicker” as I don’t have a fancy phone so I’m not very knowledgeable on how it works – hopefuly some of you who have done it can lend folks some advice in the comments 
I did have shopkick on my phone. I thought it was pretty cool until the barcode scanner wouldn’t work on my phone.
