Deliciously simple and healthy Chicken Fried Rice easily in the Instant Pot in just minutes with just a few simple ingredients!
Everyone loves a great big bowl of fried rice – agree? Fried rice is one of my favorite things to pick up at Panda Express. While I don’t get there all too often, my kids would have me going there every day if they could.
Thankfully I’m not that easy of a pushover!
The Instant Pot has been helping me make the most fantastic fried rice at home for ages. Okay, maybe not ages, but at least the last 4-5 years if not more.
Instant Pot Fried Rice
It’s handy to have a dish that can be created, start to finish, in one pot. Start with your favorite brand of white rice, some mixed veggies, water, and soy sauce. If soy sauce isn’t an option for you, then pick up coconut aminos from your local grocer.
A little sesame seed oil and a well-beaten egg can be incorporated at the end to wrap up the dish just before serving. Fold your rice in until the soy sauce or coconut aminos are incorporated.
Want to add an egg?
If you’d like to add an egg, you can whisk one and microwave it and add it to the rice. Can also be topped with sesame seeds.
