This adorable radish perler bead love pun card is simple to make and thoughtfully placed on a card you can gift to a loved one!
Perler beads are my favorite family activity. This past year, they have been my saving grace with 5 kids at home with me almost non-stop. We make fun perler bead projects as a family and it keeps everyone happy and engaged.
Perler beads allow kids to learn color differentiation, practice their math and learn valuable skills in the area of patience.
My kids and I have done everything from rainbow perler bead projects to Valentine perler bead puns… and so many more.
I LOVE puns and now that it’s summer the kids are looking for things to do.
We’ve done so many love pun perler beads – here are just a few:
- I Love You Watts and Watts!
- If you were a fruit, you’d be a FINE-APPLE
- OWL Always Love You!
- I have FELINES for you!
- I Love you Berry Much
This radish card is ever-so RADISHING! Agree? I love it!

First, gather your beads and count out each color required:
-
- Pink: 35
- Peach: 6
- Black: 77
- Green: 66
Get started by laying out all of your materials on a flat surface. I like to lay a clean terry towel down to prevent the beads from rolling around the table (and onto the floor!)
You’ll start the layout with bottom of the radish, and then slowly work your way to green stem. When the radish is complete, get ready to iron your creation.
Lay your wax paper atop and gently press with a warm iron for 30-35 seconds. Avoid over-pressing because the beads will melt a little too much.
