If you are getting started with Essential Oils, sometimes it’s really difficult to know what combinations are the best for desired effects.
A GREAT night’s sleep is important to me, as is to the rest of my family, because if we don’t get that, we end up to be very grumpy the next day. Not only does that grumpiness make it hard to work and manage everything we have to do at home (or, for Dave – at work), it makes for a very unproductive day.
I have been playing around with different combinations of oils in my diffusers over the last few months. Because it seems like many folks have difficulty getting asleep OR staying asleep at night.. we put together some of the best combinations that help us the most.
Of course there are hundreds of oils at Young Living to pick from – but these are just a few of our favorite Scent Combinations:
When adding these to the diffuser, we usually go with 3-4 drops of each:
- Cedarwood & Lavender
- Marjoram & Lavender
- Peace & Calming
- Valerian and Lavender
- Valor & Thyme & Cedarwood in the diffuser and a drop on the back of each big toe to alleviate snoring (not me.. but in him!)
- Peace & Calming
- Roman Chamomile & Lavender
- Thieves & Raven for Congestion and to keep the yuckies away!
Of all of those above, Cedwarwood and Lavender literally knocks me OUT – within just 1-2 minutes of putting it in each diffuser, and then applying a drop to each wrist, I’m out cold and have no issues sleeping all night without waking up once.
We have used our oils the last few months towards some other projects, too:
- 3 Ingredient Skin Relief Cream with Essential Oils
- Stinky Dog Spray with Essential Oils
- Do it Yourself Bug Spray {With Essential Oils}
- Using Essential Oils for Seasonal Relief
- Flavored Water with Essential Oils {Weight Management, Increased Productivity & More}
Right now we have a nice BONUS promotion with Young Living – a HUGE starter Kit and $50 in FREE Items. It’s a great way to get started and learn more about how they can help your family (and includes some of the best for helping you find sleep, help with seasonal relief & more).
