If you read the blog yesterday, we posted up a great deal on canned Pillsbury Crescents this week at Safeway. YUM!
I actually had already bought 2 cans of crescents the day before to make something special for the kids… but the best part is that I can now make MORE of these this weekend. They are really easy to do at the holidays when you don’t want to make a pie. They literally take 18 minutes (if even that.. I was fast) start to finish.
Spray your Muffin pan with cooking spray. Be generous.
Open up the biscuits, and separate them – lay each piece of dough into the muffin tin – making sure to leave some of the biscuit sides to sort of drape over the pan.
Dobble a cherry pie filling in the center of each. Not too much! A heaping spoon is fine.
Pickup the sides of each Crescent and lay over crosswise on the top to envelope the cherry filling in there. Now bake for 13-14 minutes at 425…. don’t overcook! When they are done sprinkle with powdered sugar.
