Chances are.. you love Target. Everyone loves Target. I might just be the ONLY person who doesn’t shop there regularly if at all..
I’m simply just not a huge shopper – but it doesn’t mean I don’t know how to find the BEST deal on Baby Items – after .. after all, I do have FOUR kiddos (and we are NOT done yet!)
Target is a pretty popular place to shop for a new Baby… although you can actually save quite a hefty amount, you can overspend JUST as easy if you don’t have some discipline, too…
Here are TEN ways you can cut your Baby Expenses at Target to help keep more money in your pocket!
1. Register for the FREE Baby Registry Welcome Gift ($60 Value)
Head to Target.com and open a Baby Registry – it’ll score you a FREE Welcome gift with samples and coupons valued at $60. The bag and contents CAN vary… though last time I was able to score a FREE MAM Pacifier.
To open a registry, create one HERE (Online); take your confirmation email to Target to Customer Service, and pick up your Baby Gift at the Guest Service Counter.
2. Target Cartwheel
Make sure you are using Target Cartwheel to save… you can pick up Cartwheel offers that are JUST for Baby. I would suggest checking every morning.
Some are valid for nursery items, some for diapers and some for even personal care – grab the Cartwheel app and present your Smartphone at checkout to score the savings.
3. Target Mobile Baby Coupons
Target has Mobile Baby Coupons you can score to your phone, when you text BABY to 827438; they are sent every 2 weeks. And yes, you can stack these with Cartwheel offers and Manufacturer coupons, too!
4. Manufacturer Coupons
You will want to make sure you print out ALL those Manufacturer Baby Coupons you can use to pair with Target Cartwheel AND with Target Coupons.
Here are some of the best places to find Manufacturer Coupons:
5. Target Printable Coupons
Target has printable coupons you can stack with Target Cartwheel Offers and Manufacturer for TRIPLE savings. Sometimes you can score Threshold Coupons valid for $20 off your $150 Baby Purchase for greater savings.
See all the Target Coupons HERE.
6. Target REDcard
Not everyone wants to get a REDcard, but if you do, you will score 5% OFF all purchases at Target with your REDcard , in addition to FRE shipping at Target.com and an extra 30 days for returns.A REDcard is FREE to sign up. It’s not a credit card but is linked to your debit card so you can pick up that extra savings.
7. Target Matchups
Head to the Target Matchups on the blog to find the BEST deals for the week, as paired with the Target Weekly Ad. Matchups are usually posted on Friday or Saturday for the upcoming week starting Sunday.
8. Gift Card Deals
Target has the BEST Gift Card Deals on Baby Items – everything from Diapers to Formula – not every week but close! Sometimes you can snag threshold offers for a $20 Target Gift Card when you spend $150 on Baby Items – that savings makes shopping for formula and/or diapers nearly effortless.
Combine those Threshold Offers with the above listed offers for maximum savings. We will always mention those offers in the Target Matchups and by posting regularly on the blog, too!
9. Price Match
Target will price match competitor’s printed ads or online prices .. like Amazon, Walmart & even Babies R Us. They will ALSO price match Target.com too… IF you find a lower price listed on their site.
Print the price match policy HERE, and show proof of the price match at the customer service desk. When you price match you will not be permitted to use Target Coupons or Cartwheel – so ensure you weigh that savings BEFORE you ask to match to determine what the better deal outcome might be.
As always, some limitations DO apply!
10. Use Savings Apps
There are over a dozen Savings Apps that you can use to stack with the offers we mentioned above. You can see a HUGE list of those savings apps by heading HERE – you might even find one that you prefer OVER the others!
In most cases, these apps can be paired with Manufacturer AND Store coupons as they are rebate offers; though not always! So make sure you read the fine print on each Savings Offer, to determine if you can combine for added savings.
